Jordan R25 Ottobre 2026A real treat The food was literally a work of art, and the staff were so attentive and friendly. I opted for the chef’s specials (scallops starter and monk fish main) with the intention of sharing a pasta dish with my husband who is usually not bothered about pasta at all, but it was so nice he refused to share with me. THIS. MAN. DOESN’T. LIKE. PASTA (ever) and he guarded his plate like a Rottweiler over this pasta. We were lucky enough to visit while white truffle is in season and some dishes were suitable to have the black truffle switched out. It is a little more expensive, but if you like truffle then absolutely worth it. I also got a fantastic wine recommendation and tried a local wine only available in Italy which was a real treat. Julian M19 Luglio 2026⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A superb dining experience in the heart of Rome! The enthusiastic reviews for this restaurant are utterly well deserved. If you are looking for an unforgettable meal in central Rome, CiPASSO is an absolute must-visit. Tucked away on a charming street just a short walk from the Pantheon, this MICHELIN-featured bistrot offered an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end. From the second we stepped through the door, the atmosphere was incredibly warm, stylish, and romantic without ever feeling pretentious. The team treats you like family. The service is attentive, prompt, and genuinely passionate - Federico was the perfect waiter and sommelier who took enormous care of us throughout the evening - nothing was too much trouble despite the restaurant being extremely busy. His recommendations on wine combined with my own limited knowledge allowed us to arrive at selections which perfectly complemented every dish. It is worth noting that the wines are modestly marked up, very different to the inflated prices you pay in many centrally located Roman restaurants, so enjoy! The cuisine takes timeless Roman classics and elevates them with creative, modern gourmet twists. Every single dish arrived beautifully presented and bursting with rich, deep flavour. • The Starters: The fish carpaccio and Gamberi Caprese were welcomingly refreshing and delicately flavoured on what was another particularly warm evening in Rome. • The Pasta: You have not truly lived until you try their decadent Black Truffle Tagliolini, but the Scampi Fettuccine was equally as good - black ink squid fresh egg’s pasta, raw scampi tartare, surrounded by a delicious bisque. Both were cooked to absolute al dente perfection. • The Mains & Dessert: The Araona a Roma comprised a perfectly cooked roasted Guinea fowl stuffed with herbs, glazed in rosemary stock, with shavings of Pecorino romano. It could not have been more perfectly cooked or tasted better! And the Maialino (suckling pig) was flawless, both in terms of texture and flavour. We finished the night with their delicious strawberry crumble - the accompanying crème anglaise was superb - we could have eaten a full bowlful by itself! CiPASSO delivers fine-dining quality with generous portions and a relaxed, generous soul. It is serious food in a cosy setting that you will want to stay in all evening. Pro tip: It is a small space and fills up fast, so make your reservation well in advance! We are in Rome for 6 months and cannot wait to return. A huge thank you to the front of house team and kitchen brigade for a truly wonderful evening!

The food was delicious and felt like authentic Italian cuisine, with some really interesting dishes that were different from what we had tried at other restaurants in Rome. We ordered the Burrata of the Chef, Crispy Egg, Gricia Friggitelli and Saffron, Lobster Linguine, Sautéed Chicory, and Marinated Purple Cabbage. My kids especially loved the Lobster Linguine special, and I really enjoyed the Sautéed Chicory with garlic and spicy pepper. The Crispy Egg was probably the biggest surprise. It wasn’t something we would normally think to order, but it was absolutely delicious. Even the kids loved it and wanted more! We tried a couple of desserts as well, and the tiramisu was definitely the standout. It was some of the best tiramisu we’ve had. The service was also excellent. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and we were really well taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, great food, great service, and a wonderful dinner experience!Pubblicato su Google
